Biocleanse Ingredients & Nutrition Profile
Claimed to remove unwanted toxins that contribute to fatigue and weight gain, Bio Cleanse uses an all natural formula to benefit the gastrointestinal tract. Plexus Biocleanse capsules are also 100% vegetarian and gluten free.1
Unlike other Plexus Bio Cleanse reviews, we break down the importance of each ingredient and how they may work together to increase energy levels and improve overall health.
Vitamin C: 150 mg – Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that must be obtained through diet or supplementation. Vitamin C acts as an important antioxidant in the body and has been observed to regenerate and activate stores of another antioxidant, vitamin E.2
Today, researchers are trying to determine whether the powerful properties of vitamin C can help block potentially harmful free radicals and delay the progression of certain cancers.2
In addition to being an antioxidant, vitamin C contributes to a healthy immune system, involved in protein synthesis; and the biosynthesis of collagen, L-carnitine and select neurotransmitters.2
Magnesium: 380 mg – Magnesium is a mineral that is important for overall good health and is commonly used in diuretics.
Found in large numbers within the body, this mineral is involved in over 300 enzyme reactions that contribute to the development of strong bones. It maintains nerve function, and helps activate muscle contraction.3,4
Magnesium is essential for energy production and the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and the antioxidant glutathione.3
This mineral also facilitates the transport of potassium and calcium across cell membranes – an action that helps maintain nerve impulse contraction and regular heart beats.3
Sodium: 50 mg – Another element important for overall health, sodium occurs naturally in plant sources or is added to food products.5
In the body, sodium is used to control blood pressure and volume. Considered an electrolyte, sodium is essential to maintaining proper fluid balance within the body. It is also required for proper muscle and nerve function.5
Bioflavonoid Complex: 50 mg – Bioflavinoids are a class of plant pigments known to have antioxidant, antiallergenic and anti-inflammatory properties. Found in the pulp and rinds of citrus fruits, bioflavonoids are found wherever vitamin C naturally occurs.6,7
Bioflavonoids work synergistically with vitamin C to enhance the vitamin’s benefits. When combined, the two can strengthen capillary walls, improve circulation, and help protect the body from oxidative damage. Emerging research indicates that the compounds may also help reduce inflammation, protect brain function and benefit cancer treatment.6,7

Plexus Bio Cleanse Side Effects
Vitamin C, magnesium, sodium, and bioflavonoids are all generally regarded as safe ingredients and are dosed well below their tolerable upper limits in Plexus Bio Cleanse. There are no Plexus Slim Bio Cleanse side effects listed on the Plexus website, but based on the ingredients, product health claims and dosing of these ingredients, below are some side effects users may experience.
With 380 mg of Magnesium, users may experience increased bowel movements and possibly diarrhea. This may cause a minor weight loss, stomach cramping or headaches due to loss of water.
In some users with damaged veins, skin may itch slightly after taking this product. Hives, swelling and dizziness are extremely rare and emergency services should be contacted if any of these occur.8,9
Plexus Bio Cleanse Projected Results
Based on the active ingredients, doses, and reader reviews, below are the projected results for Plexus Bio Cleanse.
Due to increased bowel movements from the magnesium, users may feel lighter and not as weighed down. This may also contribute to an increase in perceived energy and reduced bloating. The sodium contained in Bio Cleanse acts as an electrolyte to maintain proper fluid balance throughout the body.
Internally, users may experience increased levels of antioxidants from the vitamin C and bioflavonoids which may also strengthen the immune system. Bioflavonoids have also been observed to help reduce inflammation, strengthen capillary walls, and improve circulation in some users.
While initial studies look promising, there is currently not enough scientific literature to support the claims that bioflavonoids can benefit cancer treatments, or help protect functions of the brain.

Where to Buy & Pricing
Plexus Biocleanse is exclusively available online from the Plexus Worldwide website, or through a Plexus ambassador. Bio Cleanse is available in two different sizes, 120 capsule and 180 capsule containers.
Customers can choose to purchase Biocleanse Plexus products as a ‘Preferred Customer’ or as a ‘Retail Customer.’
As a preferred customer, users receive a minor discount on Plexus Bio Cleanse. However, by agreeing to the Preferred Customer price users are automatically signed up for a monthly subscription of that product. Preferred customer pricing for a 120-capsule container is $24.95. Customers must contact Plexus Worldwide within 15 days of the initial purchase to cancel the product subscription.
For best results, users are instructed to take two capsules at a time, twice daily. In the 120-capsule size, this would equate to a 30-day supply. If users were to select the retail customer price of $29.99 and take four capsules a day, the approximate cost per serving would $1.00.
For the larger, 180 capsule containers, the approximate cost per serving is $0.89. This provides users with a slightly better price and longer supply.
Based on a natural ingredient profile, portable format and value, Plexus Bio Cleanse earns an 8.9/10 In our unbiased, unsponsored Plexus Bio Cleanse review.
We like that the Bio Cleanse is a simple formula that uses natural ingredients that are also gluten-free and 100% vegetarian. Bio Cleanse lost minor points for having lower levels of active ingredients when compared to other cleanse capsules. While there is existing research to support the antioxidant effects of these ingredients, in future formulas we would like to see ingredients such as Chorella or Milk Thistle included. Both have been clinically studied for their ability to detox the body and are present in many competing formulas.
Additionally, we would like to see more information on the Plexus website concerning side effects and projected results which has also been mentioned in several other Plexus Slim Bio Cleanse reviews.
Compared to other detox and cleanse products, the Bio Cleanse capsule format is easy to take for people on the go, making it easy to incorporate into everyday life. This easy format doesn’t require users to mix products together, and is a simple way to improve gastrointestinal health.
In terms of value, Plexus Slim Bio Cleanse is slightly expensive compared to other detox and cleanse capsules available on the market today. However, compared to many 7-day detox programs, Plexus Bio is an affordable option. Bio Cleanse is only available online which may not be favored by some users.
